tomo The Satoshi Christmas Flea Market Saigon returns for a third year in a row. The event is set for Sunday, 13 December 2026 at Big Bếp (formerly Funk Factory) in District 2 - the same venue as last year.
Earlier this year, we decided to reduce the number of flea markets from two to one because of the resources required to organize them. We’re glad the core organizer team is continuing the series by focusing on the annual December market.
Keeping the event going depends on community support. You can help in three ways:
- Show up and join us on the day.
- Spread the word so friends and families know about the market.
- Contribute financially to help cover the event budget.
At this stage, our main focus is covering the costs so the organizer team is not left paying the bill. The market runs on a tight budget, but still offers a welcoming community experience for attendees and booth operators - including activities for children.
You don’t have to be a Bitcoiner to join us. Friends, families and curious newcomers who appreciate honest trade, homemade goods and good company are welcome.
As always, the event is for people who take pride in what they make and contribute to the community. Shitcoin promotion, pump-and-dump schemes and quick-money-grab mentality have no place here.
Every contribution goes toward making the event happen. None of our volunteers are paid for their work. Several core community members review the accounting and expenses, and the event budget and fund allocation are available for review upon request.
We keep vendor fees affordable so friends and families can bring homemade food, crafts and passion projects to the market. Community donations help cover logistics and activities while keeping smaller booth operators involved.
We expect the event to grow slightly compared with last year, but our fundraising goal remains 1,000,000 satoshis to help cover the costs.
