Bitcoin Thailand 2026 - See You in Bangkok!

Our neighbours in Thailand are getting the Bitcoin crowd together again.

Bitcoin Thailand Conference returns to Bangkok on 28-29 November 2026, bringing two days of talks, workshops and opportunities to catch up with fellow Bitcoiners at Samyan Mitrtown. Following the previous edition in 2024, it’s another reason to put Bangkok on your travel calendar.

Bangkok will host Bitcoin Thailand 2026.

Behind the event is the Right Shift crew, whose work extends well beyond conference weekends. Through Bitcoin education, translations and support for a growing local Bitcoin economy, they have been helping Thai Bitcoiners find both their bearings and each other.

This year’s theme is “Pioneer The Builders Are Gathering” - a fitting invitation for those interested in contributing to Bitcoin’s development and adoption in their own corner of the world.

The published programme gives the technically curious plenty to work with: Dan Gould on Payjoin, Neil Woodfine on Ark, softsimon on Mempool, and sessions covering seed generation, hardware wallets and Bitcoin security. Many speakers are familiar faces who have contributed to the Saigon community or stopped by for a visit.

Joining them is Kevin Loaec, CEO of Wizardsardine. His team develops the Liana wallet, and he is currently scheduled to speak about starting a Bitcoin business. Also on the lineup is Dea Rezkitha, who leads Fedi’s community work across Southeast Asia and founded Kelas Bitcoin, bringing Bitcoin education to an Indonesian audience through content, meetups and workshops.

The wider programme also covers monetary systems, energy and financial surveillance. There should be something to take home whether you write code, run a business or are helping friends set up their first wallet.

And yes - bring some spending sats. The Lightning Market will provide a place to put Bitcoin to use between sessions, with merchants accepting Lightning payments. For those who enjoy the spending-and-meeting side of our Satoshi Flea Markets, this part of the event should feel familiar.

For our community in Saigon, regional gatherings are a chance to reconnect with friends, meet the people behind projects we use, and exchange notes with others organising meetups, helping merchants accept Bitcoin or teaching self-custody. A conversation over a meal can be just as worthwhile as the talk you came for, so leave room in your schedule for both.

If you are planning to bring the family, the organisers also list Bitcoin workshops for children and parents. These require separate registration for ticket holders, so check the workshop details and availability before signing up.

Some of our Saigon community members will likely be in Bangkok for the conference. Come say hi and connect!
